New Name for Stubbs Builders

New Name, Same Great Levels of Service

Stubbs Builders has become Stubbs Homes. We’ve updated our branding, website and changed our name to better reflect our business.

Managing Director, Tom Stubbs explains, “As our business has grown and matured, we’ve focused on the areas we know that we can add the most value to our customers. It became clear that our former name and our branding needed to be updated to showcase this. We’ve now got a new look and refreshed website that helps demonstrate our Design and Build capabilities. This encompasses the full project management of a home extension - from the initial consultation and design, right through to all aspects of the build, building control sign off and finishing touches.”

“We’ve also added the ability to book a no-obligation call via our website so that home owners who may be considering an extension can utilise our experience by asking advice and questions at the very early stage of their home renovation planning. We understand how investing in your home can be incredibly rewarding but it’s also quite daunting, so getting the right contractor on board from the outset to help you make informed decisions can really help smooth the process of your project.”

Design and Specification

As part of the update, we’ve added design and specification to our product range. This is an area we’ve been involved in for many years as we pride ourselves on our advice-driven approach, but are now adding as a formal service offering in the business.

Co-owner Tabitha Stubbs says, “Getting Stubbs Homes involved at the very early stages of your design and planning can help avoid costly delays, planning issues, going over budget and unforeseen difficulties with your home extension. For example, during our initial site surveys, we’ll talk about areas such as drainage, materials choices and the scope of your project. These are vital considerations when evaluating your budget and overall design.”

“We’ve found that it’s also much more efficient to coordinate all of the different specialist suppliers such as engineers, an architect or designer and tradespeople through an experienced project manager. That way a home owner can focus on the other areas of the build that require their attention such as the finishings.”

“We’ll continue to work with clients who have already had their plans drawn up but offer our review and consultation service as part of our building contractor quote.”
